T. John "Johnny" Ward, Jr. was born and raised in Longview, Texas. Mr. Ward attended the University of Oklahoma, graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and received his B.A. in Economics (with distinction) in 1992. He then attended Texas Tech University School of Law where he completed his law degree in 1995, graduating magna cum laude.

After law school, Mr. Ward served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert M. Parker at the Fifth Circuit United States Court of Appeals. Since that time, he has limited his practice to helping individuals and companies with their civil litigation needs.

Mr. Ward is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has received an “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, and he consistently has been selected by his peers as a Texas “Super Lawyer”, having received that honor in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. He also is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
